Pediatric Rehabilitation at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center
-Why we chose Peds PM&R at CCHMC -More specifics about our combined residency program |

"I chose UC/CCHMC for Peds PM&R because I knew I could get outstanding training in Pediatrics, PM&R, and Pediatric Rehabilitation. On top of that, I could tell that everyone cared about each other and that they would have my back. The faculty, residents, and coordinators were all people I knew I would enjoy working with, and I knew that I could learn a lot from them!"
"Cincinnati Children's Hospital is consistently ranked one of the top pediatric hospitals in the nation. We take care of children from one block away and those who travel halfway across the world to be treated here, children with bread and butter pediatric complaints and those with the rarest of diseases. I knew that I would receive incredible training here. But, more than that, I knew that I was joining a family." |
"I applied to residency at UC/CCHMC primarily due to the robust educational opportunities within pediatric rehabilitation at CCHMC. I chose to come here for residency because UC offered a strong and well-rounded program that would prepare me for whatever I wanted to do within PM&R. Even though I already knew I wanted to be a pediatric physiatrist, I wanted to make sure that I went to a program that would help me develop a solid foundation of PM&R knowledge -- and UC was a great fit for that."
"As cliche as it sounds, I came here for the people! The nurses, therapists, trainees (both residents and fellows in peds rehab), and attendings are a wonderful group of humans." |
"At CCHMC, I really value the expertise, comradery, and commitment to excellence in our division -- among faculty, fellows and residents! I really feel like we are a family and everyone is there for each other -- to celebrate good things and to support during difficulties."
